Young Adults

Josh is a graduate student studying mechanical engineering at Stanford University and has been serving on the YAF ministry team since Fall 2021. He hopes to see YAF build deeper community through service inside and outside the church. Josh enjoys college football, motorsports, Star Wars, and exploring the local area.

John hopes that YAF will embody of unity and fellowship amidst a diverse group of young adults, demonstrating agape love to all those around us. He’s currently a software engineer at a small startup, with a passion for building for the Kingdom and building for the flourishing of humanity. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing music, gaming, and cooking.

Christine first joined YAF on Zoom in Fall 2020, and has really enjoyed getting to know the PBC community! She is a software engineer who likes painting, dancing, and cooking for large groups of people.

Bethany hopes to see the YAF community characterized by a genuine love for one another and dedicated to serving the needs in our local area. Currently, Bethany is a graduate student training to become an occupational therapist. She enjoys hiking, reading, board games, and messy baking projects.

Daniel is a computer scientist doing research in cryptography and enjoys living in the Bay Area. He likes doing outdoor sports such as climbing and loves conversations about philosophy and theology. One of his favorite books is the Confessions by Augustine of Hippo.

Teresa has been serving on the YAF Ministry Team since Fall 2019. She strives to actively grow in her faith and build relationships with those around her. Teresa is a physician and in her free time enjoys rock climbing, travel, creative arts, and coming up with fun things to do with friends and family.

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Dan first came to California for college in 2007. After graduating from Biola University and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, he moved to the Bay Area in 2015 to begin pastoring college students and young adults at PBC.

Dan and his wife, Linzy, have two young boys. Together, they love hiking, adventuring around California, cooking (and eating!) delicious food, and drinking good coffee.
