Grace Academie, Niger

Serving young Nigerienne women with discipleship, academic & vocational training

Grace Academie, founded in 2017 by PBC Missionary Aileen Chung, is a secondary school dedicated to educating young women in Niger. At Grace Academie, students receive quality education, room and board, medical care and transportation to and from their village — all free of charge.  In this  poverty-stricken country, fewer than 10% of school-aged girls have the opportunity to attend school; in addition, families often are forced to marry off their daughters as child-brides to produce income. This practice not only disrupts the girls’ education but causes severe health issues, sometimes leading to death. Receiving a quality Christian education will impact the quality of life for these young women, their future children, their local communities, and their country.
