We’re so excited to share our annual summer of fun with you! We hope these family-friendly activities help you create more community, new friendships, and stronger fellowship this summer. We encourage you to invite friends and families as we create memories together!
What can your child expect from Summerville?
To experience fun, friendships and the love of Jesus!
We want to encourage the energy and excitement that children have towards life. We want to encourage that liveliness and use it as an opportunity for growth by sharing spiritual truths with them.
To grow in a faith community!
We want our children to grow together in faith. The benefits will be even more evident when they reach their teenage years and are surrounded by friends (adults and peers) who love and follow God.
To know the Word of God!
God delights for us to know him and he has chosen to make himself known through the Bible. We want our children to be excited to know, love, and serve him.
Rainforest Falls! VBS
June 22-26 9am-12pm
4 years old – 5th grade
$75/child
VBS-Rainforest Falls-Kids will experience a rainforest adventure throughout their day and learn about the nature of God — and root kids in lasting faith.
Quest Bible Camp: Old Testament
July 6-10, 9am-12pm
1st Graders– 5th grade
$50/child
Adventure through the Old Testament with stories, games and activities, and unique crafts. Kids will gain understanding of how God formed the world and worked in it to cultivate a people who would be set apart to follow Him.
Summer Fun Days
Summer Fun Days are single-day events for kids and parents to enjoy the summer sun and get to know each other better. Parents are invited to hang out and get to know each other while the kids have fun. Light snacks provided. Note: Children 5 years old and under must be accompanied by a guardian.

Join us for a morning of fun right here on our church campus! We’ll have a scavenger hunt, do some crafts, and play games as we build community.

We’ll be meeting at Mitchell Park.
(A morning snack will be provided-children will be eating lunch together–please bring a sack lunch & water bottle-w/name on it-NO peanut products)

All-Church Events
These events are available to the whole church body, not just kids. We hope you can join us for these additional events!
All-Church Picnics @ Mitchell Park
June 28 & August 9, 12:30-2pm
Enjoy an afternoon together as church family, meet new friends, and relax! We’ll have a BBQ and organized games for all ages. PBC will provide grilled food and beverages.
Please bring food to share:
A–S salad / side dish, T–Z dessert.
Camp PBC
July 24-29
$5/person/night and $5/vehicle/night
Children 11 and under are free.
Camp PBC is a full week* and provides a unique time to live, play, and be together as an extended church family at beautiful Lake Siskiyou, in the shadow of Mount Shasta. A great trip for families and new campers!
*The majority of campers stay the whole week, but you are welcome to come for just part of it!
