Message: “Waiting in Peace for Christ” from Paul Taylor

Paul begins Colossians by praising this church for the faith and explaining that their faith is based on the hope that is proclaimed in the gospel. As we enter in the season of advent, we remember the hope of God's people in waiting for Christ's first coming and express our own hope as we wait for His second coming. We all too often forget that our faith is based on hope, preferring instead for immediate change or results. This passage reminds us that Christian faith is and has always been grounded on an expectation of what is to come.
