John Stackhouse - April 11, 2010
Guest Speaker Dr. John Stackhouse
Guest Speaker Dr. John Stackhouse For Christians who want to share Christ with their neighbors in a multifaith context, consider these questions: 1. What does it mean theologically to say that Jesus is the only way? 2. Why is affirming that Jesus is the only way offensive? 3. How can we offer Jesus as the only way to our neighbors most effectively? <img src="/files/albums/91081/94252/Picture1.jpg" align="right" width="25%"> John Stackhouse (Ph.D., Chicago) was Professor of Religion at the University of Manitoba and currently holds the Sangwoo Youtong Chee Chair of Theology and Culture at Regent College, Vancouver. The author of seven books and over 500 articles, book chapters, and reviews, Dr. Stackhouse’s reflections on modern religion range over theology, sociology, history, and philosophy. Dr. Stackhouse has lectured throughout North America and in China, Korea, Israel, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom.
