Do you have any old pairs of eye glasses (readers or any prescription) or sunglasses sitting around collecting dust? Then you can help! Over one billion people in developing countries who need eye glasses cannot afford them. Valerie Chown is collecting glasses during the month of July to be sent to Ghana with the organization Unite for Sight (www.uniteforsight.org), a nonprofit group that provides medical support & resources (surgical tools & donated glasses) to eye clinics in developing countries.
